PINoptic Technology Overview PDF Print E-mail
PINoptic software is unique in protecting against eavesdroppers, and those observing the actual moment a password is typed in.  But how does it work?

In it's simplest form,  PINoptic works as follows:

1. A user will register by selecting symbols that they can form a memorable sentence from.  For example,  I play guitar at the house by candlelight with wine.

2. The user will be prompted with a keypad showing symbols the use selected during registration, but in random positions over the keypad.

3. The user selects the symbols in the order they originally chose.

4. If they make a mistake,  the keypad is presented to them again - but with the symbols in different positions.

5.Each time the user fails to logon,  the delay producing the symbols can be configured to extend.

This concept can be deployed in a number of different arrangement including simple sign on,  two-phase sign-on, two factor sign on and CAPTCHA prevention.
