This demo shows the flexibility of visual presentation that PINoptic secure password technology provides. Symbols sets can be diverse or subject specific. In this example, we have used a fruit machine symbol set - but of course the spinning wheels of the fruit machine could be anything you could imagine, while the symbols themselves can be custom selected.
The Demo The demo starts by producing a pixel map using the slot machine symbol set. This pixel map is effectively randomized. Each time the "spin" button is pressed, the symbols are placed in different locations on the pad. Because there are two symbols per keypad, even if somebody watches you type your pass code in, they would not be able to see which symbols you had selected.
When the symbols stop spinning, you can see the different positions on the keypad. The slight delay is caused only by the overlay of the symbol pixmap on the flash movie. In real world applications many thousands of images may be produced every second.
